These smiling eyes you see so often
Aren’t always smiling deep inside
These smiling eyes that somehow soften
My crazy thoughts of suicide
Behind these smiling eyes you see
Are tangled webs and broken dreams
Though always fighting to be free
I’m locked inside my silent screams
Stick with me, babe, and be my friend
A friend is what I really need
And help me somehow fix and mend
Your caring heart my healing speed
So even though behind these eyes
Are tears and fears kept deep within
Just let me use this cheep disguise
And start the healing once again
