I was born through love, not knowing life;
My father’s love for his loving wife.
I looked through blurry eyes at first;
The magic, the wonder, the hunger and thirst.
My family and friends have taught me so much;
Affection and love, a soft gentle touch.
The happy times we’ve spent together
Will always be with me, now and forever.
I’ll remember them all, the good and the bad,
The passion and love, and some memories sad.
All this is life I’ve been blessed to share.
I thank you all for the times you’ve been there.
Please don’t be sad when no longer I’m here.
I’ve had a great life and death I don’t fear.
Be happy when good times with me you recall.
As long as I’m remembered, I’ll be with you all.
